Portable Wet Abrasive Belt Model for Rough Grinding, Smoothing and Polishing Edges of Glass This bench type machine with its streamline styling, rugged construction and low price is ideal for glass fabricators who have only a limited need for edgework capacity. Also, it can be carried on a truck, or to the job site if electricity is available. Machine is designed for use with standard 4 x 64 inch (101.6 x 1625.6 millimeters) abrasive belts. One 120 grit belt is furnished with each unit. The machine is equipped with a 1/2HP, single phase, 1725 rpm motor with a cord and on/off switch. The drive shaft is V-belt powered, and revolves in two ball bearing pillow block units. The eccentric type belt tensioner has a convenient locking handle and a control knob for easy tightening and tracking. Water for wet grinding sprays on the back of the belt from a built-in tank.
